Paint code for 85 alfa gtv6

Hi all
I am trying to find the paint code for my GTV6. It is metallic silver and I cannot find the code on the rear hatch as the book suggests. I founds on the net this code - AR 762, does anyone know if this is right?

it may be AR 765, or email Marco Fazio at     CENTRO DOCUMENTAZIONE ALFA ROMEO (FGA) <centrodocumentazione@alfaromeo.com>   
with a VIN and he'll give you the original body colour
