Inaugural "Goldfields Chapter" gathering (Sun, Aug 1)
« on: July 17, 2010, 09:05:12 PM »
Inaugural gathering of the "Goldfields Chapter", any Alfisti, especially from Ballarat, Bendigo and surrounding areas, are most welcome.

Meeting at The Wine Bank (View St, Bendigo) on Sunday, 1st of August at 9.30 am, is an ideal opportunity for members to meet each other and have coffee/breakfast.

Following the introductions and refreshments, a spot of exercise for the cars on some interesting roads in the area is called for.

Please call Barry Williams on 03 5441 5835 for further details. Or email him at barryandjennywilliams@gmail.com

Had a refreshing drive up to Bendigo yesterday and just want to give a big 'thank you' to the Bendigo Alfisti who came for a coffee and share their thoughts on getting a Goldfields Chapter up and running. There will be some more feed back on this with confirmaton of future events.

Well done Mr Williams for great organisation in a good atmosphere (it was an old historic wine bar that serves breakfast. ).

The idea is once EMR details are confirmed, we will all meet up, next month a Hill climb with Alfa Romeo as the featured marque followed by regional Historic car meet in the area.  As a matter of interest a few keen individuals are going to plan a road trip with a optional overnight stay in the King valley region so that's worth to note in your calendar for around start of November.

Let you know more details once sorted at our next committee meeting.

Cheers.
