Hi alfab,
Logically Id say a 105 gearbox and 105 2 litre flywheel, both of which aren't cheap.
Theres other details such as running a hydraulic or cable clutch etc
Can you gives us more details on the conversion? Is it just an idea or has it progressed to
prototype / mock up stage ? Does it seem like a nice fit ? The standard 'B' 1800 motor has a nice
exhaust note but is far from a rocketship

Sounds like a great idea.  The Alfa twin cam will go great in a B.

No idea on 5 speeds apart for the 105 box.

I checked Dellow Automotive's web site and they do a 5 speed conversion for an MGB but not an Alfa.

Thanks guy's
What I am looking at doing is machine the flywheel that is on the engine and see if i can use it to put a clutch assy on that . I have a 5 speed box  from an nissan  rb30 . the sizeof the box  and the location of the shifter will go close to the same spot where the B box was being from a 6cly it should be strong enough .
as for the spicket , with the adaptor plate thickness  and if i can use the alfa flywheel i can put the bush in the center of the flywheel .fingers crossed  ???

Might call the car          (THE ALFA B)
