Thought I'd post a picture of my diff disaster from winton yesterday.  If anybody has any ideas of where I can get another 4.5556 crownwheel & pinion, I would be interested!

That's pretty spectacular! (In a bad way of course)
What car did the 4.5556:1 diff come out of originally?

I believe that the 4.5556 diff's were made for racing. They restrict top speed, but increase acceleration. Vin Sharp at PACE engineering got this particular unit for me. The new one is coming from Beninca's.

cheers, jim..
