What a fantastic race weekend. Too bad it's only once every 100 year  ;D

Well done Phil and all in organising team.

Phil you can get back to your paying job now  ;)

ChrisGTA

May I second that - an absolutely fantastic weekend of racing and Alfisti cameraderie.

Thank you to all the organisers - can't wait to see the group photo!  :)

Fabulous weekend, thanks to all the organizers, OFFICIALS AND HELPERS MORE ESPECIALLY, and all the entrants.  Also all the spectators who came down help the festivities.

We will name the officials and helpers in a report shortly.

Highlight:  as I was coming around in the Alfa MITO pace car, after southern loop, the last few cars of the parade lap were still being released.  So an entire track filled with Alfa's.

As Neil said, we will name all the officials and helpers individually soon.  But I am going to single out two people without whom this event simply would not have even got off the ground.

Neil Choi - who came in when I was in a real mess and sorted me (and everyone else) out.
Ross Flood - who despite running the rest of the 2010 programme was still able to commit an extraordinary amount of time to Alfa Island.

So, to you two guys, my personal thanks and gratitude.

Give 'em a pat on the back next time you see them, they deserve it.

I'm sitting at work today with a bit of a goofy grin - what a brilliant weekend, great to catch up with so many Alfisti from interstate and see all the wonderful Alfas, especially the Alfetta 159 and the magnificent P3.

Thanks to the organisers, officials, and other volunteers.

cheers,
Evan.

What a great day! couldn't ask for better weather either, although I was spewing I didn't wear shorts!

Very proud to have been a part of the photo...just one question. Why was that Ferrari allowed in?? Don't get me wrong I love the thing, what a machine, but still...oh well, at least I'll be able to spot my car now, just in front of the scuderia.

The parade lap was also fantastic, for someone like me that's never been on a race track it was awesome to drive on it. Even got to have a few fast corners around siberia and lukey. Can't wait to be able to jump on it and race properly!

thanks again fellas, mammoth effort much appreciated

I think he means the last car let out, a Ferrari 430, the Zagame car!!!!

Mat Francis

The one that i saw going completely sideways, out of control, two wheels in the dirt, small child who looked far too young to be properly restrained in the passenger seat?

John , depending upon your definition of "road registered". But this result could break a few GTV 6 drivers hearts and suprise the rest. But i think that title of fastest road registered V6 went to "the enevlope please" Sheldon MacIntosh in the Alfa 90 with a 2.04
