Last year I  brought  a 1979 GTV back from a 16 year sleep. Hugh Harrison at Monza Motors has been really good  source to help with  some of those hard to get missing parts ( ie a twin spark motor ). He has all the other bits to.

Cheers

Have replaced clutch and brake master cylinders
Putting new seals in calipers at the moment

replaced dash with one without cracks
installed 123 ignition
I'm after a set of lowered, firmer rear springs at the moment

Got some new rear springs
All the brakes are now sorted
fiddling with the curves on the 123 ignition to get it running a little smoother
just fixing rust in spare wheel well (only thing that was a problem on the Blue Slip)
Pic attached

Cheers

Nice!
I owned a 1979 Alfetta GTV and it simply dissolved into a pile of rust in my driveway.  It was riddled with tin-worm.  I've currently got another 1979 GTV Group S car and when it was completely stripped it showed very little rust which has of course now been completely removed.

They are fantastic cars and you should get many years of enjoyment from it.

Its only got a few bits of rust
Someone had put a rubber mat under the spare and I think this held in the moisture

G'day,

looks very sharp, Fetta, and nice ride height, too!

We'll have our annual 116 register get-together in few months time - just in case you're up for a trip to Sydney!

What do you think, should I keep the serpent on the bonnet?
