Hi,
Was just wondering if this might seem normal? My wife's 2018 Giulietta Veloce (1750 engine) is due for its 45,000kms service. According to the Alfa service schedule, it is a whole bunch of checks and it involves an oil and oil filter change only. Alfa Australia supposedly specifies the cost to be $745 for the dealer. Just seeing if that is normal or should I take it to an independent Alfa specialist?
The clear coat on the driver's side mirror has almost peeled off too - anyone come across that and would that be a warranty issue?

Where are you located?

Is the car still under warranty?

$745./ for oil and filters and a visual check is just robbery ... although the oil filter is a messy arse, you can do this yourself (sans the service indicator) pretty cheaply. All consumables are available ex Alfa indies or SuperCheap!

Seems the service schedule changed at some stage?

If it's under warranty.. get the mirror sorted (although they will try and get out of it, which is why we never buy new Alfa's.  Cars are great, Alfa dealers are arse)

Hi Baz,
Located in Perth.
I don't think it is under warranty still but it did mention 7 year body warranty. Anyway, am not too worried as I bought a new driver's door mirror shell. I imagine the local dealer will make it hard to claim under warranty.
