Hello people,
I have a Selespeed issue on an Alfa 159 2.2 JTS (2011), and I hope you can help me pinpointing it.
2  issues:
1. When changing gears, the gears shift up, but disengage between shifting (as if in neutral, or the clutch is disengaged), and then engage in gear with a variable delay. It does that both in auto and manual mode, and between all gears. It started of occasionally, and got much worth (now almost constant).
2. In addition, sometimes it only shifts to even gears (2,4,6) also with a big delay, and skips the uneven numbers. This issue was a progression from the first one (didn't start immediately). When this happens, trying to shift manually doesn't work.

I ran AlfaOBD check, and got Error code: P2905
Gearbox sub-system
Incorrect engagement/selection
Failure lamp not requested
Fault intermittent
Hydraulic circuit pressure: 46.00 bar
(I have the entire report)

I tried to shift manually with the engine off, and there was no problem, all the gears shifted.
I checked the clutch oil - none was missing (up to the top), although just next to it on top of the clutch housing there were signs of a small oil leakage.
I calibrated the clutch, which did not help. maybe I should have bled it as well.

The clutch and slave cylinder were replaced and the master cylinder overhauled 15,000 km / 2 years ago.

I suspect the solenoids of the clutch and the even / uneven gears , and/or the gear position sensors, however I'm not a mechanic, just an amateur :-)
Any suggestions?

Thank you for your help.

Thank you for replying.
The car has only 95,000 km (9/2011).
The clutch and slave cylinder were replaced and the master cylinder overhauled by an Alfa specialist 2 years ago. It only did 15,000 km since this repaire.
I'm located overseas.... (in Israel)
One thing though... when driving in town, I often shift to neutral when slowing down to a stop, to prevent downshifting which I find annoying with this gear type. To the best of my knowledge this gear is designed to cope with it.
