GTV 6 seats
« on: February 27, 2021, 02:43:19 PM »
Hi everyone,

I'm restoring a 1983 GTV6 back to original spec - the last owner had a whole lot of ugly aftermarket mods on it which I am getting rid of bit by bit.  Putting the original seats back together and seem to be missing little screws that will hold the seat back arms onto the triangular shaped mount on the seat base.  Any idea what sort of screw I should be trying to source for them?

Thanks

Sounds like a project that we want photos of!

Sorry can't help with your question (not actually sure what parts you are referring to) - but I have a question for you - what fabric are you/have you used on the seats? I was of the understanding that the striped black velour was unobtanium...

Good luck with the project!
Cheers

Find attached link to a previous post on Alfetta GTV seat material. This link provides answers to several questions asked,  such as Supplier of black velour pin stripe material and several photos of triangular angle bracket attachment. Please note that there are no details of specific bolts, however I do recall they were allen head bolts incorporating large round head  to fit snug inside the triangular mount.
