Folks

I have 3.0 l in my gtv , recently looked at my plugs and I suspect the injectors are prob not good as they could be , the mixture across plugs seems to vary a bit. Given they are rather old that is not surprising.

At this stage i want to keep original ecu .

So I saw some old posts that implied that vl commmedore injected can be fitted , is this true? From flow , physical fitting and impedance point of view?

Alternative is are there another source for new injectors ? I haven't found anyone with stock.

Lastly has anyone had success with reconditioned injectors ? I am a sceptic with these as I haven't seen much success .

Thanks

Peter

Easy solution is to take them out and give them to an injector specialist. They can test them and clean them properly. If they still don't work properly they'll tell you but those old injectors are pretty simple devices - after a clean they should be fine.

Ditto.
A clean and test report will tell you the story. Don't overthink this issue. If one or two aren't quite up to spec, buy another used set cheap and get them cleaned and tested. Combine the best of what you have. They will work for years .
