Hi Everyone,

If you have opened this message, I would like to say thank you.

Even though these are very strange times, I have started to plan out a 50th birthday trip to Italy in 2 years time (2022).

I know that there have been a couple of articles in the Alfa (Vic) magazine, but I cannot seem to find them.

If you have any experience or advice on where to go, where to stay and most importantly where to hire a great car could you please get in touch.

Many Thanks

Simon

Hi Simon
Had several trips to Italy in the past decade and had booked to travel to Europe this year, but with COVID 19 put a stop to that, maybe in 2022. My vacation was to include day trips to the Alfa Romeo and Ferrari museums (refer to links). Some of the sights I have found breathtaking was road trips around Sicily, Tuscany (Florence & Pisa) and the east and west coast of Calabria and Naples that included Isle of Capri and Amalfi coast. My initial trip involved a bus tour visiting popular tourist destinations around Europe and provided a good snapshot and experience given the limited time available, whilst my most recent trip involved using a modern day hire car for the road trips. I have included a link to company'’s that provide hire car services that offer vintage and classic cars. Their rates are not cheap, but worth considering for limited time only.
