Neat idea!  8)

That part looks in good nick. Based on your signature, it's not an '83 GTV is it?  ;D
The only problem with the GTV6? They forgot to install the flux capacitor...

Either 164 or 916 GTV

bonno

I am with Domenic, it is a speed sensor from a 164.

vin sharp

Flux capacitor from an Alfa DeRomeo. Time & place unknown due to random travels at warp speed...
Sorry, I have no idea!

are we sure we're all looking at the same picture?

I've never seen an Alfetta with an oil pressure sensor that looks like that. The Alfetta sensor has an external thread...the picture you put up doesn't

Agree with Dom.  Electrical connector looks too modern for a mid 70's design.  Don't most oil pressure sensors feature a male BSPT thread?

A fluid temp transducer "usually" features an exposed probe whereas a fluid pressure transducer "usually" features a female-like cavity.

But who are we to argue.....................it is off an Alfa?

No Alfetta oil press sender that's for sure....the collar nut on the end suggests high pressure gas or hydraulics sealing.
