Berlina bonnet release

Hi, 
After some help from the berlina owners out there. Puting the bonnet release back together,  was taken apart by previous owner. According to the parts catalogue i have all the original parts.
I can't work out how the cable connects to the passenger side latch.  Any help or photos would be appreciated. I may have it on reversed,  but I still don't understand how the cable attaches as there is no grub screw like the other side.
If it is reversed then my emergency back up would not work. Is it correct that to release,  both latches need to be pulled to the middle of the car?

How does part number 32 attach?  There is no grub screw and it would pull the wrong way.

With circlip #34 by the look of it?

Thanks, but the circlip holds part 32 to the latch. Part 32 has a hole through it for the cable but no means of attachment.  I know the answer will be a simple one but i can't see it at the moment.

Is this it?  Its the outer sheath that pushes the passenger side latch?

Sorry about the previous photo and here is one with larger text (you might have to use magnifier to 200%).
Text reads
"To check operation, place blade of screwdriver between the 2 locking levers and push down to engage, then pull cable to release and the locking levers will spring back up to disengage latch".

Does anyone have photos of where the original emergency release cable run to on Berlina's? Or has anyone re routed theirs to a better position?

Hi Jake
To the best of my knowledge, Alfa's did not incorporate an emergency hood/bonnet release, however if you think it is necessary particularly for rear opening bonnets, you could make one using a suitable length and diameter of wire rope terminated at latch end and routed against firewall to a position from underside of car to allow emergency release (refer to photo in GTV-074 photo image 161719).

I have included a couple of pics showing the routing of the emergency bonnet release cables (one to each catch).

They go through the hole for the plenum drain pipe and sit under the dash near the back of the glove box i think.

Bonno, yeah they are factory! hows that Alfa went to the trouble for us!

This emergency release 'pull' is mentioned/shown in the Berlina handbook.

Mine is 1750 S1 so i presume that's the first time they installed them.
