Hi
The car had the key barrel assembly removed by a previous owner!
How difficult, expensive would it be to re key it?
cheers CC

Let me guess, boosting your retirement fund by opening up your own used Alfa car lot? How many you got now?   ;D ;D ;D

Well the question is does he still have the original key fob for it so the immobilizer system will still work and allow you to start the car?

If yes then all you need is a new set of locks, barrel and keys from a wreck, if no, then you need engine ECU & matching immobilizer box as well to go with the new key/chip from the wreck.
