Map updates for Uconnect 6.5"
« on: July 02, 2019, 12:32:14 AM »
Map updates for our 2015 Giulietta QV have not been available since we took delivery of our new car. Weve recently learned that a 2019 update has been released, but at an extraordinary cost of around $465.00 to have installed by our local Alfa service agent. With all the major infrastructure changes currently happening to our northern and southern freeways here in Adelaide, the update is probably already redundant. Worse, there is no way of knowing when, if ever, the next map update will be released.

Im looking at a more permanent, cost-effective solution that will allow us access to current maps (preferably using the existing Alfa Uconnect 6.5 Radio Nav).

Can anyone offer a solution?

And Alfa Romeo can't work out why they are the joke of the automotive industry.   ::)

Alfa Romeo is the car you buy with your 'emotions', because, if you used your brain, you would buy something else! LOL!

Its Alfa Romeo Australia who are the idiots.
Getting parts, service, updates etc for your Alfa in the UK/EU is a piece of piss

Seriously, we should crowd fund a takeover off the distributor franchise, theyre fucking useless.
