I haven't had a lot of joy sourcing the felt-like fleecy tape used in some Euro harnesses where acoustic damping of the wire bundle is desired (in the roof, or behind the dash), but note the following is a decent substitute when originality isn't a deal-breaker:

It's quite soft to touch, and the fresh adhesive doesn't seem to go overly slimy in the heat unlike "ye olde" Nitto insulation tape.

For those who are more economy-minded, it's about half the price when bought in quantity from OS:

And why is it, that if one is standing in the garden and a large huntsman deigns to run up one's leg - that said spider chooses to run up the back of your leg - as though somehow you will not notice it this way?

None of the spider remedies proposed there, allow for the fact of me being (then) 6 metres up a tree above a pool, kitted out with ropes and chainsaw. As the Philly Jays sang in Going to the Casino - "What could possibly go wrong?8)

As to the tapes, yes, a punt is in order - I'm curious as to the averred "anti-ageing" aspect of the adhesive.  Maybe it outlasts the Opal Tower?
