Oh, and not to be forgotten an Alfa Sprint:

Don't have any connections to any of the cars for sale, just sharing the boxer vibe !

Oh god, I miss my 87 SprintQV.. bought it in 1991, drove the wheels off it as a daily for over ten years.  Id have another in a second

And one for any boxer fans in Western Australia.  Looks like its a carby 1.7 with shim valve adjustment. Some of the later 1.7's 8 valves came with hydraulic valve clearance adjustment, they have a more 'sculptured' and rounded/curved cam cover than the ones in the picture here.

UPDATE: Someone has 'Got in Quick' and bought this last of the carby boxers, whoever you are, enjoy!

Not many carby 1.7 33's sold in Aust and very few were shim valve adjustment engines. Most were hydraulic lifter engines like the one in my Sud (and the spare engine in the shed).

The hydraulic lifter engine have solid heads so no cam covers and look significantly different to the valve adjustment engines. Would swap my spare 1.7 engine for a good valve adjustment one if anyone has one!
