Selling my 2004 Alfa 156 JTS 2.0

Car runs ok but it's about to go out of rego and has following issues to repair before it can be re-registered:
•   Engine oil leak
•   Catalytic converter replacement (engine warning light problem)

I'll provide documents with all the issues to anyone interested.  These were found during last service with Max Oddi (Leichhardt).  Max has estimated that the repairs needed to re-register the car will cost around $1,500 - $2,000.  There are smaller issues to fix up that are typical for a 156 of this age – e.g. the front lower control arms need replacing.

This would probably suit someone looking for a project, a first car for son/daughter, or a vehicle for spares.  I don't have a garage to work on or dismantle the car and was going to buying something else anyway because I have a growing family and a 156 isn't ideal!

I have owned the car for 3 years.  It currently has just over 164,000 kms on the clock.  For the most part it has run reliably.  In that time the fuel pump, oil matrix, alternator, battery, all 4 tyres, 2 coil packs and the climate control panel on the centre console have been replaced.  And I just fitted a new wing mirror since someone kindly hit the last one and took it off!  I have a brand new spare coil (Bosch) that I'll throw in if you buy the car.
