Dear Neil,

The Lotus Club of Victoria will be holding its annual Track Day at Sandown Raceway
on Saturday, 18th October 2008 and we request your support for the event. We are a small
club and this event is a very big undertaking for us. We would like you to promote the event
to your club members and encourage your members to enter and participate.
The event is run in a very relaxed manner. All participants will get lots of runs. It is an
ideal event for novices or first timers as there will be a number of arrangements to cater
for them. Experienced drivers will be available to sit in with new drivers during the
morning practice. Cars will be grouped for the sprints according to experience there will
be at least one novice group. Entrants can opt for doing a regularity type of event rather
than an outright sprint. All entrants will be welcome to take a passenger around the track
during the parade laps at lunchtime. Parade laps can only be driven by people who are
competitors on the day and they must indicate on the entry form that they intend to carry a
passenger during the parade laps so that their cars can be scrutineered in terms of
passenger safety. Passengers will need a helmet.
There will be a BBQ in operation throughout the day.
Please email me for Sup. Regs and Entry Forms.
Looking forward to seeing some of your members on the day.
Yours Sincerely,

Chris O'Connnor
Assistant Competitions Secretary
