Does anyone know if it's possi to fit a v6 from a 156 into a 156 twin spark body?

Cool thanks! I have a good v6 156 with an average body and an immaculate 156 ts with a bottom end knock

Both complete cars so I have ecu, mounts, exhaust etc

In that sense, yes possible, but a monumental task. Its all the piddly jobs that make it such a PITA , especially the electrics. ALL the wiring looms that have ANYTHING remotely to do with the engine management and monitoring systems have to be changed over.

Recently a fellow Alfa Specialist ran into trouble when transplanting an engine from a 156 JTS Manual over to a 156 JTS Selespeed. As he was just transplanting the engine all should of been good as they are identical engines - CORRECT!

BUT, they use slightly different Engine wiring looms on the actual engine itself . . . . DOH! After completely finishing off the changeover he had to go back and change over the wiring loom didn't he.

Believe it or not, the biggest pain in the arse would be transferring the wiring looms behind the dash over. All the mechanical stuff is straight forward, especially with the engine out and the hood removed.

The list I made in the other post was just off the top of my head in 30 seconds, give me another 30 seconds and I'll come up with 30 more.
