Thought I give a heads up for a 1979 Alfetta at Lloyds auctions finishing tomorrow 28/4/18.I owned this approx 10 years ago and did the rust in it (which was minor)and had it resprayed and then unfortunately had to sell it to another alfisti who spent a fortune on it by having brembos installed on the front/rebuilt master booster/vgc interior/hellebore steering wheel/bilsteins front shocks koni red rears etc and the list goes on.
No financial gain for me with this post but just wanted to give a heads up for what I know about it and I'm sure someone else on here who knows the car may elaborate.
Lot 30 Lloyds classic car auction 28/4/18 or if doesn't sell at auction I have the owners details.
Also 3x 164 manuals and a 90/1750 and 33 there????must be someones collection-not mine

Sure is a steal if it goes for that price or thereabouts . Additionally the other Alfas to be auctioned in particular the 164's could be of interest.

Never seen so many 164 manuals in one place before-funny how 2 have been resprayed and the red one not completed? Also for those interested in the alfetta I drove it from Bundaberg to Gympie 2 years ago and drove fine although the exhaust note is not my taste as in a bit loud but road worthy and as the ad describes either a rack end or tie rod will need replacing.Pity ive got no undercover storage left???.....

In case you may have missed it,  there is a 1970 GTV Series 105 resto project for auction (I wonder what that goes for?? -- Only if I had the space to :(

Yes the 1750 didn't reach reserve at the last auction although there was a berlina and a very early alfetta sedan which both sold-they looked to be out of the same collection and wonder if these 164s etc are from same seller?if so its one awesome collection

Yes final price was $6100 and deposit taken but Lloyds obviously don't have the authority or more so "give a sh*t" to chase up the buyer or pickup the phone to contact the seller and have the courtesy to at least notify of whats happening. The short of it is they got the deposit and my mate now is going to pick it back up(6hr journey) and not one cent in his pocket-Lloyds- don't sell with them (probably different with high end stuff not stocking fillers)!!!!Reason he is selling is to help buy hoist etc for his new resto/metal shaping business and is now listed on here and gumtree and various fb sites.
