Rear Gearbox Bush Removal

Hey ... the rear gearbox mount/bush ... its just a press-fit right?

Tap it out with a suitable sized socket, yes?  Or does it require something a little more serious?

Current Alfa:
1975 Alfetta GT 2.0 Race car
1979 Alfetta GTV (Resto)
1972 105 2000 GTV (Resto)
1987 Alfa 75 2.5

What ever method you try, to remove the bolt easily you must take the weight of the transaxle  by jacking it up slightly then pull the bolt out then lower the transaxle to expose the bush

The trans-axle is already out of the car so no problem there ...
