Hi all

I got new upper front arms for my 156 and plan on installing them.

What's the best suitable ball joint splitter that is available locally?

Any other special tools that I would need?

I was actually surprised that delivery from UK was just 8 days. I ordered air filter from Sydney on the same day and it arrived on the same day too.

Tools by SP and T&E are usually good for going to the bank with.

I'm old school and use a sledgie to back the upper ballpin taper, while smacking the opposite face with a heavy copper hammer. They're often well stuck. And I copper grease lightly the taper when refitting. This latter comment will probably attract some opprobrium.

Really important to note, the threads on the nuts are different pitch to one pair of the drop link nuts. I've no idea why, but take care not to spoil the new ballpin threads with the wrong nuts if you throw everything in a tray as you dismantle.
