Yep.   Race Secretary has organised the weather well.  All the rain was delivered last weekend to that obscure warm up event in western N.S.W.
Now the preliminaries are out of the way let the Main Event begin!

The Inaugural Alfa 12 hr was a tremendous success.
What a wonderful weekend and working with a great bunch of Alfisti's.  The competition was fierce with some great driving and camaraderie.
Massive field of 40 teams and over 200 cars and drivers.
100% Satisfaction and everyone had a ball.

The sponsors to thank are:
Alfa Romeo Australia, Fiat Chrysler Automobile
Zagame Alfa Romeo
Essendon Mazda
Maranello Pur Sang
Bubble Blue Printing

Many officials worked three days to run the show.

Those to thank are:
Ross Flood, Alan Hopla, Alan Morrison and Colin Edwards
Bruno Colautti, Mary Colautti, Mandy Thompson
John Whittington, Noel Goltz, Joe Ardi, Colin Thomas
Malcolm Powell, Stuart Thomson, Anthony Sharp, Evan Bottcher
Andrew Carra, Chris Carra, Will Carra, Gavin Daniels

And of course, all the event volunteers provided by the teams.
And all the volunteer scrutineers who helped on Friday and Saturday.
And all the team helpers who helped their teams to success.

Without all these folks, there would be no Alfa 12 hr.

The podium winners are:
1st Place
Panorama Mountain Men, MX5 Club NSW
2nd Place
Team E30, BMWCCV
3rd Place and Tony Hawker Perpetual Award (First all Alfa team)
JBV6 Racing, AROCA Vic

I am extremely thankful to this dedicated group of Alfisti who have all worked together, for the last 12 years and especially so the last 12 months to create this year's event.
The fact that each and everyone of the team knows exactly what to do, how to do it and when do the job.

To you all, I thank you personally.

Until next year.

Accomodation sorted and booked for next year.  Arranged to stay an extra night.  Makes sense given the relay will be twice the duration!   :)
