But as a Busso owner, I'd still recommend the V6.

Here's why (2:44 in)

I would pick the Fiat Lampredi over the Fiat/Alfa modular engine

In design I'd agree with that (but Fiat/Alfa 2.0TS for it's output). I've enjoyed Lampredi Twin cam variants in 1400, 1600, 1800 and 2000cc.
The Alfa Romeo heritage "rinascimento" (renaissance) continues in each and every new model...the first "rinascimento" being 1915.

I can't help but think the author thinks the 147 twin spark is the same engine as the Nord

If you are referring to me Steve, I'm well aware they are not the same. Just posted the link as I thought fellow Alfa enthusiasts would be interested.  ;)

Or do you mean the guy in the video?

The author of the video of course! Although, on reflection he's correct as the Lampredi and the Nord were pretty much retired more than 20 years ago.

Goodo, just checking. I reckon the Nord would probably rank ahead of the twinny if it was greatest 4pots of all time. :)

Ah the SR20.

The only problem there is, at just a smidge over 40, I feel too old for an S15. :D

My 180sx had the CA18DET which was unloved in the Silvia community.
Past: 180SX | 300ZX Twin Turbo | 350Z HR Roadster | 300C 5.7 V8 HEMI | 98 GTV 2.0 TS
Present: 2002 GTV 2.0 TS | 147 TS | 74 Super Beetle | Porsche Cayman S 987.1
Future: I've stopped looking. Wife says "No more Alfas" lol.
