Was a keen follower of F1, went to a few Melbourne GPs, attended last weekend, the writing is on the wall, the only thing holding it together are the supporting events!
Switched to MotoGP and Superbikes: a lot more action, better technology VS human skill balance, easier to interpret regulations and overall better personalities.

This is a bit off topic but, just wondering.

Anyone on here own the red +1981 GTV 2L that was parked on St Kilda Road next to Royal Botanic Gardens on Sunday morning? I spotted it as went past on the tram around 11.30am on my way to the race. The owner may have been attending the Greek Independence Day event in the gardens. She looked a beauty from a distance.
Now:    2002 156 GTA

Before: 1999 156 V6 Q-auto

Colin Edwards

Yes.  Ross Brawn of Benetton (1 x Championship with MS), then Ferrari (lots more Championships with MS), then Honda / Brawn (1 x Championship with JB), then Brawn / Mercedes / Mercedes - arguably the chief architect of todays Mercedes F1 team!  Not a bad resume!

This bloke knows what is required for success.  As Managing Director of Motor Sport for the new Formula One Group I'm confident this circus is in good hands.

So far he's been good for Ferrari!!

What, the owner?

I agree Ross Brawn is the man
and dangerous not to have on side
BUT unless he does something like motogp
where it is competition it will fade
it was always about the drivers and the cars
now its about automated uber taxi and a pit stop
at 120kg and a remote control i think I can win a F1 race
at the moment
heres hoping things change

Very droll Neil. ;D

There were certainly plenty of beauties of the feminine kind at Albert Park on Sunday...
