Attached is a pic of the seat locating bolts for the front seats.

Some Questions:
1. For the front track - which slide stop should I use (long or short)
2. Does the longer section of the slide stop face the front or rear?
3. Is this the same for the rear slide stop?

Thanks David

Longs on the rear is how it came from the factory.

Bourney

Thanks. Does the bent section face the front or the back? And is the bent bit facing upwards or downwards. I assume the bent bit faces the same way if it is on the front or the back?

Sorry about the questions but I took the seats out a year ago and I can't locate any diagrams on the net or in the manual.

Should have taken more photos.

Refards David

That pic is showing the tab going up and between the front and rear bolts. It also shows the long one at the Front which is not what I said above.
I would try it like the picture shows and see if the Seat goes back and forward enough.

Hi,
Thanks very much. I got 1 out of 3!

I had the long one at the top but the rest of it wrong! I did not put the 2nd seat back in as I did not want to have to redo both of them again!

Can I ask where you sourced the diagram? I could not find anything after a fair bit of searching on the net.

Thanks again for the help - much appreciated.

Regards David

I got the picture from a manual from the alfa sud parts manual.
It's on the aflasprint website below. This manual is called Alfasud 3'series Bodyworks Microfiche - 1983

http://alfaromeo33.extra.hu/
http://alfasprint.extra.hu/

The other manual you want is Alfasud 3'series Mechanics Microfiche - 1987 Sud Ti 2/3 p., Berlina 3/4/5 p. Its on the same page and has all the mechanical parts listed. For engine manuals i use the alfa 33 engine workshop manual.
