Hi Everyone.

Yes, it on! For those not yet in the know, the date is January 30 so not that far way. Details are available on the AROCA NSW Club website;  http://www.alfaclubnsw.org.au/
The venue is Superior Automotive in Mona Vale who are equipped with the latest in dyno technology.Daily driver cars and race cars equally welcome.
Should be a great day out for all Alfisti. Gus will supply an excellent Italian sausage sizzle on site to keep everyone happy.
Don't miss out!
Cheers,
Ric.

Hi Carlo.
Numbers so far looking good (15+ confirmed) including your entry. Should be a great day with snags and drinks available and we expect a good roll up of Alfisti. For anyone else out there considering coming along, keep in mind you must register via the AROCA NSW website if you wish to have a run on the dyno (see the earlier post for the link).
Cheers,
Ric.

We've now reached our limit with just over 20 cars confirmed for a dyno run - mix of old and new Alfas, FWD as well as RWD. The fun starts at 9.30am. It promises to be fun and very interesting day!
Cheers,
Ric.

What A day and well organised
Hats off to Henry (Ric) its hard to do and you pulled it off
The competition was tough, trailers were turning up with these hard core
race beasts and GT's 3.2s everywhere
The Hp's were going down to the wire often 1/2 of a hp difference between 2 very modified cars
done in very different ways .
from 27.5hp (abarth)((not alfa so he wont read this)) at the wheels to over 470hp what an assortment of vehicles
sadly very few original standard cars to compare too
when mustering a tornado of almost 90hp you crave comparison to another before you quietly sob in the corner
I was really hoping for 100+
but comparing it too my other Mainline (more to come on this ) dyno Im up 10hp from before so not so bad .
Why I highlight Mainline is because my car last year on a Mainline dyno , registered  79 hp and the day after with the same tune registered 94.4 hp on a dyno Dynamics unit ,about 15hp diff .
so If your feeling down with your power add 15 for an equivalent reading
Also a very notable alfisti said if its a transaxle unit add 50hp for a fly wheel reading .
SO that I dont skulk away in embarrassment take my 88hp +15( dynamics )+50 (flywheel) I get a macho underwear ripping figure of 153hp (yeh baby) I know Im having myself on a bit
OR am I !!
food was excellent crustly Italian buns with italian pork sausages ( oh the old ways)
typically alfa (italian) a no apology fun day out
No politically correct anything but we did come up with an idea for a GREEN dyno
that somehow feeds the grid while the cars consume 100 litres of fuel we could help the grid and feel better
about not buying a Tesla
thanks again great day cant wait for the next one ,
