Since when was a functioning sunroof apart of a roadworthy? :o
I'm pretty sure that as long as it is closed, it should not be a problem.

The original sunroof parts have long been NLA (No longer available). I imagine a sunroof place would have to completely modify the sunroof for an electric one? Cost would be prohibitive I imagine? Anyway, good luck and I hope you find a solution to your problem.

A sunroof in not a roadworthy requirement, if the sunroof is leaking it is a cosmetic issue. have the VicRoads official show you where within the road regulations it states that the sunroof is a roadworthy item.

Hmmm this is interesting, I'm going to question the rwc tester and if hes not satisfied,  I'll just go somewhere else!  I thought it was a bit odd they picked the sunroof!

I would imagine he would point to this sentence in Section I:

All seals at body openings necessary to prevent the entry of exhaust gases into any passenger area must seal effectively.

Well that's a bit tough with a GTV6  ;) Doors, Hatch, sunroof, Firewall Grommets & then what about Rust holes?

Parts are no longer available. I'm sure the nylon sliders could be made out of an old nylon cutting board and or nylon block from a bearing service also clark rubber might have a similar profile for the two rubber seals.
Look here for photos of the sliders that I posted on the AlfaBB

cheers
