Then we would have people saying it looks like an Aston Rapide...but better than a Commode I guess.

I think it looks more like the new Jaguar XE than anything else.  Not a bad thing, as they will be direct competitors, and they both look pretty good to me.

The more I see it, the more my objections are fading away. Now it just has to drive as good as it looks, and sound 3/5ths as beastly as the promo video.

I agree, it's been growing on me. Especially since I saw the walk around video, all the styling cues make sense up close.

Joe,

Have you put your order in directly at the factory or waiting until you get home. If you have got the time try and get down the road to the National Auto Museum in Turin.

Ok I'm sold, looks fabulous in white. Continued exposure has cured me of my initial disappointment.

Have a great trip Joe, guess we won't be seeing you at the Island on Saturday...

Did you get to check out the manual shift?  Just kidding - great to see they actually have them in dealers as well. Anyone know when they're actually going to be available?

In the other thread Joe wrote mid-next year for Italy. So they really are just prototypes now?

It does seem that way doesn't it.  I'd be keen to know if anyone has actually been able to open a door, or a bonnet.

.......... It was driven onto the stage?

There are pics with the door open online. There is also discussion (Facebook 952 page) that up to a hundred (?) have been hand built to test/check production lines.

Good morning guys. This white one was a proper 6 speed manual and it was locked, from the outside interior looked very micky. Photos dont do much for this car and i loved it. To me it seemed smaller than a 159 more like a 75. More photos later today
