Oh God, it looks like a Commondore.

What's with that ugly boot spoiler?

I can only hope that the photography was so poor that it actually looks better.

Cheers
Stuart

It's not to my liking but what would I know, I'm old. ??? Maybe younger people will like it.

V AR 164

I like it,
Certainly better than the Guiletta IMO.
Present:
-1992 164Q
-1993 Hilux Surf

Past:

ANG156

Need to assess the official images. I think it lacks the sexiness of the 159. The 159 was more Monica bellucci this is more someone else that is not italian.

Spada

I hope its another hoax, like the other recent one which is obviously a photoshopped BMW 3 series.

really? wtf,  perhaps you need a new car club, or a new pair of glasses, lol. Each to there own.

First Alfa that says lets get it on, GO and do it with some PUNCH.
This thing is alive, it even has gills, makes the 4C look like Tinkerbells car.

Love it.

front on instinctively Alfa. Side and rear a bit more generic like Audi,BMW6,Mazda6 etc....

Agreed. Rear reminds me of a Mazda, flanks very BMW. I still think I'll like it eventually, but  it's a little disappointing.  All the most recent Alfas have been very distinct in styling, they looked fresh, didn't remind me of anything already on the market. The Giulietta tail lights, as seen on subsequent Hykias. Or the multi-light front end of the 159. The 156 which was gorgeous and had a big influence on cars like the Accord Euro.

Meh, if it goes as well as they're suggesting I'll get over it even more quickly!

I don't see any commodore, sorry Stu.

OK, for those that can't see it ...

The profile of the two cars is very similar, the rear less so, the front is similar, but with the Alfa grille (missing the horizontal pieces!!!!), the door handles are particularly rubbish.

The car might go like stink, but if want an ugly car that goes really well, I'll buy something else (there are so many to choose from).

When compared to the preview mock up (the nice white one, next post), this is a complete disappointment.

Cheers
Stuart
(6 Alfa's BTW, vision still pretty good for an old bloke, ex-President and self proclaimed style guru)

P.S. The Alfa is the picture on the left, in case you can't tell them apart...
