Giuletta - Drivers side sun visor - Mirror (or lack thereof) ?

The trouble and strife has been bugging me about her new Giuletta's sun visor. There's a mirror in the passenger side sun visor, but not on the drivers side. From what I can gather the most important thing about driving to work in her mind is the ability to put on one's lippie on whilst waiting at the lights.

So my question is, is anyone aware of a drivers side sun visor out there that has a built in mirror ?
thanks. Potsie.

The Distinctive model should have it. The SportivaQV model has it so as the interior is the same as QV so would the QV.

Being diesel and yours not having it probably means it's a Progression. So no point grabbing the driver visor from Alex Donninis as the G he has is a Progression.
The Alfa Romeo heritage "rinascimento" (renaissance) continues in each and every new model...the first "rinascimento" being 1915.

Hi potsie,

if you haven't sourced one already, would probably pay to also search left hand drive market Ebay sites ect, as obviously thing would be reversed over there....
I can help with Ebay.de as I speak German (better than english  8) ;D)
Thanks and best regards

thanks for the offer Obersturm, but I have found one from the UK as Craig suggested. Turns out Craig was wrong about the 1 pound figure from a UK wrecker. I searched for a while and finally bought a pair of sun visors for 44 quid (=AU$86) with postage another AU$30. Haven't arrived here yet, but when they do I reckon you may hear me swearing from Bayswater as I have no idea as to how to fit the bastards.

If that's all it costs to keep "The War Office " happy it is money well spent.

Just tell her that the Alfa is no place to be doing her makeup.

Poohbah - you come and tell her that ! I'd get thumped if I did  :D.

Happy ending to the story. I had no problem fitting it - 5 minute job - just had to pull down on the plastic cap and one screw to remove. Yes Misa, it is a progression, but they must use the same wiring loom across the models (which would make sense from a cost point of view) as there was wiring inside the top of the pillar to plug into - now the wife is as happy as. She has now has a mirror and the light comes on with the flick of the mirror cover (she likened it to the fridge door).

I now have two 'spare' sun visors which maybe I might even put on ebay and try to get me money back. Potsie.
