Whilst replacing the aluminium accelerator & brake pedals on my 159 Ti this morning I noticed a small white electrical connector sitting behind the bonnet release handle in the drivers footwell area. (See photo 1)

What is this connector?

After lifting some of the trim above the pedal set I traced the wiring to the location as shown in photo 2. Runs up behind some more trim below the steering wheel. Appears to have a black stud cable tied on but not connected to anything. Ran my finger around the area trying to find a hole but without success.

In photo 3 I pulled the connector and wiring loom out from behind the bonnet release and trim.

Dude, if it ain't broke, leave it alone. Wiring looms are fairly generic in their creations so as to help in production speed on the factory line. It looks to be a connector for a sensor for one of the various 159 models. I take it theirs nothing out of sorts with your vehicle? I can certainly understand pure curiosity, but it always gets me into trouble.
