A few years ago my 2002 JTS did 98.3 Horse Power or for you kids out there 73.3 kilowatts, according to Alfa Romeo it is 165 Horse Power or 121 kilowatts from a good engine at the flywheel.
But when it came off the dyno, the dashboard was lit up like a christmas tree, the traction control, sorry ASR, that is Anti Slip Regulator was swithed on, and like a good nanny, it sensed that the front wheels were spinning really fast and the back wheels were not, so it was cutting out the engine to slow down the front wheels.
The 156 JTS has 98.3 gees gees and the 33 had about 80, but the 156 is more powerfull than the 33 and feels a lot more than the 20 horses suggested,
Has a twin spark 156 got traction control?, a twin spark 147 has, as it is built into the vehicle dynamic control or stability control, Colin.
