love the colour - always thought that blue was due to the reproduction in old books/photos!  Now I'll have to remove the bumpers and lower my '79 Alfetta!

The colour was one of the  ways it fought me-3x times getting the paint lightened as to original le mans blue(if you need i still have the code in the bootlid)so is still a tad dark as per original inner 1/4 panels and code.

Gheers again George-new one arrived today/tonight and in tomorrow-then brakes-yay

How many photos would you like? I've got a few of it in the various stages of it's life- you might get a fright!

As for mine- well it's been in bits for the last 2 and a bit years, It'll get there one day.

;D im into frights .No there great.I took photos when i first got it but cant find them. Thanks very much

Mat Francis

Well here's when he first backed it into the pole. Not so pretty.

Then there's the bottom end and the head gasket of the motor that is probably still in it. It came out of another alfetta that was given to us, and the motor was initially seized. Poured oil into it for a week and gradually freed it up. Built a different head and slapped it on it; assuming the motor hasn't been changed since I sold it to Craig, its probably done 60,000k since! Scott absolutely thrashed it too! Anyone who claims they are unreliable is kidding themselves.

Your Alfetta looks fantastic, still looked great when Mat owned it
I've had mine for 3 years now daily driven and its been very reliable
and love it dearly.

Those who say they are unreliable are uneducated baboons.
Mines  a GCL so has more electrics than a 80s LTD and plastic
Moulds like a VK Calias, love the numberless look on the earlier version.

Time to drop the front and ditch the bumpers.

Viva la Alfetta

Pardon the grammar errors at Soundwave as we speak.

Congrats on saving a great car
Never sell it !
Cheers
