1955 Alfa Romeo 1900 CSS at Sandown Park on 18 August

My field of reference for 1955 sports cars is a little limited. But  that looks a reasonably civilized drive.  The ergonomics of the car look pretty good to, dare I say  far better than a 1955 Austin Healy 100 /4 BN2

Thanks for that Phil.  I note that the steering seems nice and light which is not always the case ewith 1900's. Does it have the original steering box?

From what I was told, the steering was anything but light haha

Hi David,
I can confirm from Hugh that the steering was NOT light - situation normal for 1900s (and 2600s). I think Hugh just made it look easy in the video. Hugh's comments to me were along the lines of - Brakes need adjustment as pulling to the right, steering heavy, gearbox excellent, engine excellent.
