Yep..its on this comming Sunday

A great drive from Heathcote to who knows where.
The Apprentice + Masters navigators will have to plot the route to get them to lunch and to the finish at Sutton Forest Pub.
Always a great day out,and with 50 confirmed cars entered, will be a rewarding drive with fellow ALFA = Classic rally Club cars + competitors.
Then there is the Tour category= all route charted and questions to answer.
Some take the event seriously, and most go for the drive on great unfamiliar country roads.
A great way to enjoy your Alfa Romeo or your Classic car.
50 cars is 100 + people + officials etc,so always someone you know and chat to.
Roughly 300 kms in distance, but im sure I will personally do 400 + as my navigator usually gets us lost sometimes.
Then the 100 km drive home= about 500 kms added to the speedo.
My last rally was 2300 kms ,so this one will be easy.
Pump up the tyres + add fuel, and lets gooooooooooooo.

Yesterday was the AROCA Tour De Corse Rally
Was not the best day for driveing (rain + wet roads).
About 50 cars turned up at the start
Tour, apprentices + masters navigation were given out,and off we went.
Great roads having to be plotted for the apprentices + masters, with herringbones, tulips + map traces etc.
Got to lunch.Went back for 3rds= yumm.
Glad the heater worked to keep us warm and demist the glass.
Off again for the afternoon session.
More great roads + found lots of mud
Well done to the organisors of the event.
Got to the finish at Sutton Forest pub to worship the fire and talk to other competitors tales of the day
Only provisional results, but probably won by AROCA members Lauren + Alan
Thanks to the fire hose at Pheasants Nest Mobil to remove some excess mud,and drive home.
Another 414 miles (662 kms) added to the odometer total trip for the day.

I agree, a top event on great roads made better by being in an Alfa. The organisers did a great job under difficult conditions. Those of us who chose to run in the navigation classes were challenged, as we should have been. Alan & Lauren's effort was outstanding, not only did they wrangle the entries & registration but it looks like they won the most difficult category!
