Nope, in the second pic I would have been going at least as fast, if not faster (both images are from video which have been on this site before, but linked again below).  Got some datalogging from the day, managed to pull 1.2 lateral g at Dandenong Rd, which I reckon is not too bad for an old piece of crap on a cold track.  All thanks to a new spoiler...

Pre-spoiler, I come past the camera car at about 6:00.  Thanks Camera car.

Post spoiler, come past camera car at about negative 30 seconds.  Damn slow camera car, get out of the way next time.

Damn that's a good spoiler.  You should make some replicas!

Obviously Zender knew what they were doing.

I have a 90 Zender wing that could be used for a mould as long as I get a free wing out of it. ;)

John.

lets see some data then!

This is from the last run of the day.  In the first three traces I'm the black line, Evan is the red line.  My brakes were just about shot here, as you can tell from my long accel trace - I was braking early just in case I wouldn't make the corner, and coming on and off the brake leading into the corner to modulate the speed.

Enjoy.

Well, come on Jim.  I showed you mine, let's see yours.

This is a datalogger capture that compare the fastest ever lap that I did in the "Giulietta" with the fastest lap that I did at last sandown in the 155. As you can see the Giulietta is fast where the 155 is slow, and vice versa.. Hmm. Need to work on that.  Sheldon - send me your fastest lap data so we can integrate em..

Sheldon - here is a snap of some our our data from sandown, on our best laps - you were actually faster than me at six different points on the track. The x axis is distance so the events line up properly :)
