Title: Front bumper splash guard, 159Ti
Post by: MattK on August 16, 2021, 09:22:31 AM
Me again, as usual with a request for advice. On an epic night drive the other week, I hit a possum on the road (first time I've hit an animal in 30 years of driving, the Hilux in front of me passed over it but I didn't have the clearance). Anyway I was surprised at the lack of apparent damage until I figured out why the windshield washer had stopped working - a splash guard in the front wheel well in front of the tyre is missing, and took out a plastic tube elbow leading from the windshield washer pump. I think I can sort out the elbow with some epoxy putty, but would anyone have a lead on a splash guard, or be able to sell me one from a parts car?
I also need a small insert from the side skirt on a Ti but I doubt anyone has one of those ...
Thanks for any pointers. Cheers, Matt.

a you mean the wheel arch lining?  Got one a few years back from Zagame.  Not that expense.

Cheers, I'll have a look at the eBay ones then. Thought somebody might have a parts car they'd like to make a few bucks from!
