Title: Boot spring adjustment-79 Alfetta Sedan
Post by: Altered on July 31, 2021, 06:40:59 PM
Now she's running pretty impressively again (albeit FTP for Alpine mid week run), my attention has turned to a few minor jobs that have been lingering.

Job one:  Adjust boot springs so it doesn't scone me every time.
There's one tightening position still available, however not sure how to remove and reposition the springs without injury.

Is there a vulcan nerve pinch-technique that would get the job done.?
I was thinking that if I was to remove the boot lid that may allow the hinges to go higher and significantly reduce the resting tension on the springs. But in reality I don't think that's going to help.

idee chiunque ?
