In the process of installing a new head unit and will try out one of those usb DAB+ dongles. Yes I know I can stream DAB off the phone, but I wont always be a a position to do so.
I wont be installing one of those ugly windscreen mounted antenna and looking at other options; like splitting the signal from the existing aerial knowing that the signal will need to be boosted by way of an amplifier.
I have read that the 159 with Blue&Me has an amplified (phantom power?) antenna. From this diagram it appears that there could be a amplifier (4) for the antenna in the If anyone has ever found the amplifier could you let me know where it was actually located?
