Title: Windage Tray on a Nord engine
Post by: NSharpley on May 09, 2021, 03:40:00 PM
... or any other form of oil surge control??

Anyone use any additional baffling or a windage tray?

Dry sump is  the best form of surge control. Not likely the news you were looking for I suspect. The typical commercial windage trays should be better described as bottom end stiffening panels  rather than a surge control mechanism. Whether the Nord block actually requires stiffening is another subject altogether.
