Title: Just saying hi
Post by: Tubbs on April 10, 2021, 07:41:56 PM
Hi All,

Recently purchased a 147. This is the first Alfa I have owned so lots of new experiences.

I have only had the car briefly but have found these forums very helpful.

Nice to meet you all.

Welcome Tubbs

147s are a great all round town car.
The last 9 months,,I have been driving a 2006 147 TI manual are am enjoying it.
Very economical at an average of 8.4 litres per 100kms around town and better on the open road.
Very comfortable to drive,,and heaps better now with 4 new  tyres and a proper wheel alignment.
Only annoying thing is it revs too hard in 5th gear at 110 + kph,,but so does my 1984 Alfetta GTV V6.

Enjoy yours,,they are fun.
Use good quality oil and check the level frequently
