Title: Gearbox oil counter/degradation reset
Post by: Kent M on March 16, 2021, 07:46:37 PM
Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how to reset the gearbox oil counter/ degradation counter after changing the gearbox oil on the automatic tf-80sc on an alfa 159 2.4Jtd.
I have the MES tool but I only see reset adaptive for the gearbox , but not reset oil counter.
Can anyone tell me where this is on MultiECUScan?

Thanks

There is no such feature on the Aisin transmission fitted to the 2.4 JTDm.

We all know what the manual says, but how often do you folks change your gearbox oil?

Every 2 years or 20k,preventative maintenance to prevent solenoid valves gunking up,oil changes cheaper than valve bodies!
