Can anyone please confirm whether or not the front wheel bearings and main hub nut is the same for 147, 156 and GT cars? Some parts suppliers seem to list the same bearing part number for all models and all engine variants. Mine is a 2002 2lt Twin Spark manual.
I want to say no... but I can't remember exactly, it was that traumatic.
With absolute certainty, there are different thickness and splined drive shafts across the engine sizes.
That said, the bearing that presses into the hub (and nut) may be standard.. the hubs are defo not (they accept different sized/splines)
I haven't really helped, sorry :)

Ask him how he knows . . . . go on . . . I dares ya! ;D ;D ;D
The hub nut is 36mm & needs a slight chamfer about 5mm deep on the outside lip to clear the taper inside the hub.
as long as you provide the parts supplier with a VIN# and they use the factory parts software there should not be any issue with getting the correct part.
unless someone has gone as far as cutting and shutting bits from different models onto your car.
