Title: Coolant Leak - Twin Spark
Post by: PJPAlfa on June 30, 2020, 10:08:06 PM
Hi

Looking to understand where this leaking coolant might be coming from?  I originally thought it was the oil cooler pipes just off from where the oil filter is connected and after changing them. Ran the engine a little and left it of about a week. When I next checked I noticed the leak further up. Hard to see much with heat shield and manifolds in the way.

The photo is taken lying under the car looking up, so imagine it at reverse angle. The section is behind the AC Compressor near the exhaust manifolds. Looks like it might be a bolt just above where I have placed the red arrow.

In that location it is leaking from either -

A/ Water pump

B/ The metal Rigid Coolant Pipe. At that end of the pipe it attaches to the engine and is sealed with a paper gasket, gasket is leaking.
