Title: Stuck in neutral 147 selespeed 2008 2ltr
Post by: DianeB on November 03, 2019, 08:32:54 AM
Hi guys

First time Alfa owner and user to this forum so please be patient.

I did read something on here about my problem but I can't seem to find the post

My Alfa just stopped last night while driving, I came to an intersection and went down in the gears to slow it slowly pulled up and went into neutral and is now parked on the side of the road

Car won't start all power comes on and dash states its in neutral a msg came up transmission failure.
I had NRMA out he put the computer on it and I did get errors, I have pics of them
It was reset and I did start it again but still in N position, turned it off in hope to get it into gear but no luck and won't start again.

Please help

It will likely be either an hydraulic pump failure or accumulator failure.

I'm assuming it cranks when you turn the key and when cranking the rev counter moves slightly.
