Map updates for our 2015 Giulietta QV have not been available since we took delivery of our new car. We've recently learned that a 2019 update has been released, but at an extraordinary cost of around $465.00 to have installed by our local Alfa service agent. With all the major infrastructure changes currently happening to our northern and southern freeways here in Adelaide, the update is probably already redundant. Worse, there is no way of knowing when, if ever, the next map update will be released.

I'm looking at a more permanent, cost-effective solution that will allow us access to current maps (preferably using the existing Alfa Uconnect 6.5" Radio Nav).

Can anyone offer a solution?

Bloody disgrace.  >:(

It's a simple update ,was done by my mechanic after he changed timing blt n water pump plus service , any alfa specialist should have it on the pc when it goes through all the other mech updates, it shows on the screen whether update is needed , mechanic charged me no xtra , am not suprised the exhorbitant price you where quoted . It is possible to update urself , links are available on the www.alfaowner.com ,just search uconnect update , plenty of info n instructions..
