Usually with these connectors the little U shaped wire clip can be pushed in on one side, spreading the wire clip on the arms of the U shape. Not the case with this one. Any ideas.
You just get a fine tool and pry the bottom feet of the U clip aside.

The individual wires from each injector are wrapped together and then join with other wrapped bundles of wires and disappear into the firewall.
The wire clips came out easily using some little toledo picking tools from Repco.
Have taken the air con off and its condensor. Still nutting out a safe elegant way to drop the engine using the engine mounting points. Keeping the inlet and exhaust manifolds still attached..
