Post by: cc on August 15, 2018, 09:11:30 PM
Hi guys
Picking up an 83 sud Friday morning near Haberfield - can anybody recommend a mechanic reasonably close for an inspection and brake work?
Cheers

Franks Pitt stop motors or max Oddi ,both in vicinity of haberfield.

Out of curiosity , 2 x suds i know that where for sale , one sort of rusty on gumtree , started at $ 6000 , sold then relisted n kept dropping to $ 1000 , this example was always parked outside house near Pasticceria Papa , other one looked good n advertised on aroca NSW newsletter , red . Love the Suds .. Love Napoli pomigliano D'Arco

Hi cc,
I guess we are wondering what you paid for your sud?
Who did you go to? Max or frank?
My first Alfa was a 78 sud ti. Loved it and should never have sold it!

I once saw a T shirt on a Ducati Rider
...DUCATI... turning riders into mechanics since 1947

I must say Alfa could have similar shirt
I'd buy it !

Hands up please someone to make the t shirt. I would buy it too.

Never did buy the 'sud at the top of this thread.
Really regret it.
It ended up coming up for sale again with the new owner shortly afterwards.  With another alfasud in pieces as a twofer.
Rang the owner in Hornsby to buy  'the one' but he wasn't interested.
It still smelled like a alfasud.. There was an Endrust sticker on the rear window and the rust wasn't too bad.
